What is L2S ? Top
L2S is Interstate Communications' wireless high-speed internet access service that provides you with access to the Internet at speeds of 10 times faster than a 56k modem. Using Airspan point to multi-point 700 MHz wireless broadband technology, L2S lets you surf the Internet or e-mail without using your phone line.
How fast is it? Top
The L2S "broadband" connection is about 10 times as fast as a 56k modem.
Why would I want L2S? Top
L2S' speed is only part of the story. With L2S your phone line won't be tied up whenever you are surfing the Internet like it is with dial-up service. There is no need to install a second phone line for your Internet connection. And L2S is always on. Open up your web browser, and you're on the web. No more modems dialing out and making those fingernail-on-chalkboard sounds trying to connect.
What can I do with L2S? Top
The high-speed capabilities of L2S open up a whole new world of opportunity on the Internet. Do the things you're already doing in record time, but also discover new exciting applications. Watch video with amazing quality. Listen to a radio station from across the globe while surfing another web site. Send and exchange digital photos. Shop on line. Participate in online gaming. Download huge files in no time and stop waiting for web sites to load.
How much does it cost? Top
